Mercedes-Benz India has today launched the E 63 AMG for Rs. 1.29 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi) . Deriving its power from a 5.5-litre V8 engine, it is capable of producing the maximum power output of 557bhp and 720Nm. While the earlier generation E 63 AMG with the 6.2-litre engine was 30-37bhp lesser powerful than the new one. The engine is mated to the AMG Speedshift MCT 7G-Tronic transmission, which transmits power to all four-wheels. The top-speed attained by the new E 63 AMG is 250kmph and it touches the 0-100kmph mark in mere 4.2 seconds.

The Sport variants are definitely going to more nimble, however in terms of looks the vehicles are not expected to come with any change. BMW has finally delivered the promised X1 at a base price of Rs. 27.9 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) . The new X1 features the 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine that cranks out 184bhp and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
